DON’T BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN
Hello, you know me, I am Daniel Kilburn the founder of Emergency Action Planning.
I am a father I am a grandfather, and I am a retired U.S. Army Infantry Senior Drill Sgt.
It is my duty is my responsibility it is my obligation to tell you the truth.
Next month September is the National Preparedness month here in the United States.
National Preparedness Month encourages and reminds Americans to be prepared for disasters or emergencies in their homes, businesses, and communities.
If we follow the science of today, by the time my 15 years old granddaughter is my age. The Florida Everglades will be underwater. The beaches that we freely frolic on will no longer exist, that’s if we follow the science of today.
But we do not need to look into the future to protect our children now.
Did you know that house fires kill more people each year, and cause more damage than all, natural disasters combined?
My vision is to protect our children from the emergencies and disasters that will come into their lives.
My mission is to provide their parents with the tools they will need to protect their children.
Many of the parents I speak to have a common barrier to protecting their children from emergencies and disasters.
They do not know how to get started, they’re unsure of starting the conversation and they do not know where to gather information.
In September I am launching a unique training program that will address these issues.
I call it: DON’T BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN this training will provide you with a simple way to start the disaster planning conversation with your family.
And I know how important this is. Because 47 years ago I was responsible for burning our house down.
