EAP WORKSHOP WEEK ONE

Welcome to Week One of the Emergency Action Planning Workshop.

During the course of this workshop we will cover 21 Learning Objectives the when completed will be an active living Emergency Action Plan unique to you, your family and loved ones.

This is a Tell – Show – Do workshop

The training provided will comprise information to review/research and practical application exercises to complete. This will be accomplished with the use of video, audio, documentation, etc. The workshop attendees will be looking over my shoulder as I prepare a basic Emergency Action Plan. This will enable the attendee to emulate what they have learned or alter it to their needs. Feedback and participant questions will be reviewed on the EAP Facebook page. If you have not already done so, please go to the page, like it, introduce yourself and tell us what you want to gain from the workshop.

The first third of the training is focused on specific tools, tactics, techniques and procedures intended to instill a mindset that will enable completion of the workshop without undue distractions, detours and roadblocks. The remainder of the workshop will consist of alternate tools, tactics, techniques and procedures that when completed will comprise the individuals working Emergency Action Plan. Periodically there will be Bonus Training created from the feedback of the workshop attendees.

Though there will be checklists and reading lists, the meat will be in the video creation of a working Emergency Action Plan.

The estimated time needed to complete the workshop is 4-6 +/- hours a week. This will be determined by the coursework of the week. If you’re not sure you have the time to complete the course go to the Time Hack post, complete the exercise for every day of the week. I am sure you will find more than enough time to complete the workshop.
