As the weather warms up here on the west coast there becomes increasing concerns for forest fires, on the east coast hurricane season is ramping up, amongst all of the other natural disasters we are dealing with at what feels like an almost constant rate.
I’m sure many of you are in a similar boat as me, and regularly think about how we need to get our shit together when it comes to emergency kits and planning for fires, floods, and other natural disasters, but also constantly procrastinate it because it feels like just another thing to add to the already way too long to-do list.
Well, we’re here to nudge you so we can stop that cycle together and actually prepare ourselves and our families for the inevitable with today’s blog post, Emergency Preparedness: Creating an Emergency Kit List, and this month’s workshop, The Family Urban Disaster Planning Workshop with retired US Army Senior Drill Sergeant and Disaster Planning Expert, Daniel Kilburn.
