White Listing
How To White-list Emergency Action Planning
iPhone
- Tap the sender’s from name
- Choose “Create New Contact”
- Tap “Done” to save
Android
- Tap the picture of the sender
- Tap the add to contacts icon
- Tap “Create new contact”
- Choose the correct account if you are signed into multiple email addresses
- Tap the check mark to save
Gmail
- Open the email in your inbox
- Hover over the sender’s name
- Select “Add to contacts” to save the sender to your Contacts list
You can also white-list in Gmail before opening the email: Just hover over the sender’s name next to the subject line and select “Add to contacts” to save to your Contacts list.
How to move senders to your Gmail Primary tab
- Drag the email from your Promotions tab to your Primary tab
- When asked, “Do this for future messages?” select “Yes
Apple Mail
- Open the email in your inbox
- Click on the sender’s email address
- Click “Add to Contacts”
Outlook 2003 (and higher)
- Open the email in your inbox.
- Right click “Click here” to download images in the gray bar at the top of the message.
- Click “Add Sender to Safe Senders List.”
Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013
- Right click on an email from the sender who you wish to add.
- Select Junk and hover to get the sub-menu.
- Add that single sender to your safe senders list, choose “Never Block Sender.”
- Add all email from that domain to your safe senders list, choose “Never Block Sender’s Domain
To put anybody who you email on your Outlook white-list automatically
In Outlook 2013:
- Open Mail in Outlook.
- Make sure the HOME tab on the ribbon is active and visible.
- Click Junk in the Delete section.
- Junk E-mail Options… from the menu that appears.
In Outlook 2007:
- Select Actions | Junk E-mail | Junk E-mail Options… from the menu.
- Go to the Safe Senders tab.
- Make sure Automatically add people I e-mail to the Safe Senders List is checked.
- Click OK.
Yahoo
- Open the email in your inbox
- Click on the sender’s email address
- Click “…”
- Choose “Add to contacts”
- Add additional information if needed
- Click save to finish
Windows Live Mail
1. Open the email in your inbox
2. Click on the sender’s email address
3. Click “Add”
4. Add additional information if needed
5. Click save to finish
